Chapter I

Suzuka Grey
Colour with intent
The launch colour is Suzuka Grey, a matte-leaning pearl that reads almost white in the morning light. The black decor package on the sills, the mirrors and the rear wing is what turns a quiet shade into the GT signature.
Chapter II

20-inch forged wheels
Motion, even at rest
Ten-spoke forged wheels in gloss black, 20 inches front and rear, save unsprung weight. Behind them sit carbon-fibre ceramic brakes with red calipers, standard on the GT.
Chapter III

Side blade
Drawn from the R8 LMS
The side blade behind the doors has been the R8's calling card since 2006. On the GT it is finished in carbon, like on the racing car, and feeds the V10 the air it needs.
Chapter IV

Singleframe
The face of the Four Rings
A wide Singleframe grille in black honeycomb, flanked by large air intakes, flics and a carbon front splitter: the aerodynamic kit that makes the GT a track specialist.
Chapter V

Rear wing
Downforce you can see
A fixed, swan-neck carbon-fibre rear wing, a carbon diffuser and twin oval tailpipes close the car. The GT lettering on the wing is the only badge the car needs.
Road and track
Built for the road honed on the track
The R8 and the R8 LMS GT3 have shared the same aluminium spaceframe, V10 engine and Neckarsulm assembly line since 2009. Customer teams have won the Nürburgring 24 Hours, the Spa 24 Hours and the Daytona 24 Hours in the race car; the road car is built by the same hands.

Performance
Power
456 kW from the naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10, the same output as the quattro model and 50 PS more than the V10 performance RWD it is based on. The most powerful rear-wheel-drive Audi ever built.

Torque
Available between 6,400 and 7,000 rpm. The seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch gearbox has been given a shorter final drive for sharper response.

Max rpm
The last naturally aspirated V10 in an Audi road car, free of turbochargers and hybrid assistance, revs to 8,700 rpm.

Torque Rear
Seven traction-control curves, selected from the satellite on the steering wheel: level 1 allows a little slip, level 7 a lot. Controlled oversteer, tuned on the R8 performance RWD chassis with softer rear anti-roll bars.

Built
Numbered 1 to 333. The last R8 of all, in Vegas Yellow, left the Böllinger Höfe on 22 March 2024 and went to the Audi museum in Ingolstadt. 45,949 R8s were built in eighteen years.

Chapter I

Audi virtual cockpit
Instruments, not interfaces
A 12.3-inch virtual cockpit in front of the driver and nothing in the centre of the dashboard. The performance view puts the rev counter in the middle, where it belongs in a car with 8,700 rpm.
Chapter II

Alcantara and leather
Black, with red stitching
Bucket seats in black fine Nappa leather and Alcantara with contrasting red stitching, the numbered GT badge on the centre console, carbon on the sills.
Chapter III

S tronic
Seven speeds, two paddles
The seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox is operated by the selector or by paddles behind the wheel. Torque Rear, the drift mode, has its own dial with seven stages.
Chapter IV

Steering wheel
Everything in reach
A flat-bottomed wheel in Alcantara with the start button, the drive select and the performance mode switches on the spokes, so the hands never leave it.
The last of its kind
One of 333
Each car carries its number on the centre console. The final R8 was built on 22 March 2024, after 45,949 cars.
